Q: Are the necklaces real gold?
A: Yes, the necklaces are 18k Gold plated. During the process of gold plating, a thin layer of gold is applied to a less expensive piece of metal, typically copper or silver. Industry standards dictate that .15 to .25 mils of gold be applied during the plating process. Gold plating is NOT to be confused with costume jewelry. Where as the necklace begins to fade within hours and/or 2 wears. Some businesses may note that their items are Gold plated when in fact they are not. They may have more of a gold spray on the jewelry, which can cause itching or skin discoloration. You can rest assured that all Bijoux nameplates and necklaces are 100% real gold plated.
Q: Will the nameplate or necklace turn my neck green and or black?
A: Unless you have a specific allergy to sterling silver, you will not have any any reaction to our nameplates.
Q:There is a nameplate I saw, that I want, but I don't see it on your site, can you make it?
A: Possibly, we can make almost any necklace regardless of font, style (laser cut, engraved, bar etc), please email us at info@Bijouxbyd.com and we will be glad to correspond with you in creating and detailing any style of nameplate you would like. Keep in mind, some custom ideas may require more material, resulting in a higher price than items shown on our website. Having a picture helps also!
Q: My order is for a birthday/special occasion, do you have rush delivery?
A) Yes. Regular shipping takes 2-3 weeks (US only), not including 2-3 days of processing time. For expedited shipping, costs are usually $25.80-$60.00 this gets your necklace to you in about 1-7 business days (non custom orders can be next day air if placed before 2pm, customized orders will take up to 7 business days) please email info@bijouxbyd.com for this special order.
