Q: Are the necklaces real gold?

A: Yes, the necklaces are 18k Gold plated. During the process of gold plating, a thin layer of gold is applied to a less expensive piece of metal, typically copper or silver. Industry standards dictate that .15 to .25 mils of gold be applied during the plating process. Gold plating is NOT to be confused with costume jewelry. Whereas the necklace begins to fade within hours and/or 2 wears. Some businesses may note that their items are Gold plated when in fact they are not. They may have more of a gold spray on the jewelry, which can cause itching or skin discoloration. You can rest assured that all Bijoux nameplates and necklaces are 100% real gold plated. We also have 14k and Gold Filled options available as well. Feel free to ask if you do not see the option available!

Q: Will the nameplate or necklace turn my neck green and or black?

A: Unless you have a specific allergy to sterling silver, you will not have any reaction to our nameplates. 

Q: There is a nameplate that I want, but I don't see it on your site, can you make it?

A: Possibly, we can make almost any necklace regardless of font, style (laser cut, engraved, bar etc), please contact us at info@Bijouxbyd.com and we will be glad to correspond with you in creating and detailing any style of nameplate you would like. Keep in mind, some custom ideas may require more material, resulting in a higher price than items shown on our website. Having a picture helps also!

Q: It has been a few days, where is my order?

A) Regular shipping takes 2-3 weeks (the US only), not including 2-3 days of processing time. For expedited shipping, orders arrive within 7-10 business days. Please allow us this time frame before inquiring about the status of your order.

Q: Do you have a phone number I can call?

A) No- But please don't misunderstand this as any lack of interest! We love to answer your questions.
